Keurig 2.0 #shop

In October we went on a much-anticipated, long overdue vacation!  We visited friends in Florida we hadn’t seen in six years….WAY TOO LONG!

We did all the fun things you typically do on vacation….sight-seeing, amusement park, stayed up way past our bedtime laughing and having fun, and slept as late as we wanted, which means something different to each person in our family.

I was still the first one up and just like at home, the first thing I wanted was a cup of coffee.  At our friend’s house, morning coffee was a real treat.  See, they have a Keurig® and a beautiful screened porch.  The weather was amazing so every morning I enjoyed my coffee outside.

As each person leisurely rolled out of bed they would join me, with their cup of coffee.  I will be honest, after a week, we were completely spoiled!  Not just the weather but the coffee!  Having freshly brewed coffee in an instant was the best!

My thoughts on a Keurig had been something along the lines of, “I’m sure it’s fine but how good can it really be?” Well, let’s just say we all loved it.  In fact, as soon as we got home my oldest daughter decided all she wanted for Christmas was a Keurig

We’ve considered buying one.  Even at home we don’t all get up at the same time so brewing one cup at a time is perfect…but one thing has held us back.  We have guests in our home a lot…once or twice a week at least….and we often serve coffee.  It just wouldn’t be practical to make one cup at a time.

Now, Keurig has a solution!

The Keurig 2.0, which has the ability to brew a single cup OR a four cup carafe!

I was amazed to learn there are 400 varieties of K-Cup Packs!  I chose this for my first taste of our new Keurig 2.0

The Keurig 2.0 reads each lid so it gives you the perfect cup of hot chocolate, tea, apple cider or coffee.  Even the non-coffee drinkers at our house are excited.

Even though it belongs to the whole family, this is one happy girl!

But wait…….

This is the season of giving!

Through the generosity of this sponsor, our family was able to bless some special friends with their own Keurig 2.0!

Robert and Rebecca have been our friends, literally, since the day we moved to Texas.  Robert was one of the men who helped us unload our moving truck.  They’ve been a blessing and encouragement to us (and many others) so many times and in so many ways.  They have an amazing servant’s heart, always there when you need them…without being asked. You need a dryer picked up at the store…he’s there.  Fence needs repairing….Saturday works for him.  You just had a baby and you’re washing machine broke…..no problem, Rebecca’s got it taken care of.  Dead rat in the attic….taken care of that, too.

Thank you Mastin family for all you do for others!

I love Keurigs but we don’t have one yet. That’s so cool the option of the new one and that you were able to bless some friends with one!!

I love the idea of being able to brew a whole pot, for when you have people over! I do have a Keurig but I don’t believe I can do that with mine. I love it though. We don’t all get up at the same time so it is perfect! I actually tried to get my son a mini because he is headed off to college next fall, but I couldn’t find one anywhere. 🙁 I’m thinking it would be nice to have one up at our ski condo too.

I love that this can brew a carafe instead of just a cup!

What a great post! It sounds like you are blessed to have such awesome friends…so take some time during the holidays to sit down and share a cup of coffee (or tea…or cocoa…) with them. Thanks for sharing! #client

Can’t wait to try the new Keurig! Also, I have to agree completely to all you said about Robert and Rebecca! They are amazing friends and have a servants heart like I have never seen before! (We know, since we had the dead rat in the attic!)
