The Most Frequently Asked Question at My House….

What’s For Dinner?

I am honored to be a new monthly contributor for Heather at Frugal Homeschool Family.  Heather has great homeschool ideas, wonderful frugal living tips and recipes as well as TONS of free printables.   Her focus is on helping moms get organized, live better on a budget and save time and energy.  Because that’s such a big undertaking, she has put together a team of monthly contributors to help out.

I have been asked to contribute a Monthly Menu.  One of my goals this year is to get back into the habit of planning my meals a month at a time.  I thought I would add it to my blog but when Heather asked me to contribute for her, I knew that was just the accountability needed to keep me on track.

Most dishes on the calendar will contain a link to that recipe on Pinterest or other websites.  My goal is to have easy, delicious dishes for your family to enjoy that will save you time, effort, (and who knows) maybe even a little money.  I hope it will encourage you to make meals at home, take time to sit down with your family and share a few minutes of your day around the dinner table laughing, talking and investing in each other’s lives.

I could use your help.  As most of the recipes are not my own, I haven’t been able to test all of them yet, so I’d love your feedback.  If a recipe doesn’t work for your family or something isn’t right with the directions feel free to leave KIND comments or suggestions (here or at Frugal Homeschool Family) so I can make a note of it for future posts.

I hope you’ll stop by Frugal Homeschool Family and check out our new Monthly Menu Planner!

This is so cool! I love that you’ve included days for leftovers too – even if you don’t end up having any leftovers, it allows for a bit of flexibility and perhaps the occasional meal out or take away! 😉
