Strawberry Nutella French Toast Roll Ups

It’s Official….

I’m addicted to strawberries and Nutella!

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!!              Nutella…where have you been all my life?

Ok, I keep a jar in the pantry pretty much all the time so it’s been RIGHT there.  I have a daughter who’s also addicted.  For whatever reason (I can’t think of what in the world it would have been) I just never ate it.  What’s not to love?  It’s CHOCOLATE and when you add a few strawberries, roll the whole thing up and make French toast out of it…. Well, you get the picture.

If you’ve been on Pinterest lately you’ve probably seen these Strawberry Nutella French Toast Roll Ups (or a variation of them).  I have to be honest, I don’t get a lot of Pinterest “successes” so I’m a little hesitant when it comes to new recipes from there.  But, this one looked so good I just couldn’t resist.

Strawberry Nutella French Toast Roll Ups

I’m SO glad I did!

Also, I chose this recipe to be my first “live” Facebook video.  Scroll down and you can watch it.

Here’s the Recipe:

  • 6 Slices Pepperidge Farms Very Thin White Bread (See note at bottom for other options)
  • 2-3 Strawberries – diced small
  • Nutella
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tablespoons half and half
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Dash of Vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • Optional: Powdered Sugar

*This recipe only makes 6 roll ups.  I ended up making about 3-4 recipes*

Comments from my family:

  • These look like something we’d have at the fair.  (We go to the fair JUST for the food so that means they’re good)
  • They taste like something we’d have at the fair!
  • These are REALLY good.
  • I could eat a lot of them.
  • Wow, these don’t even need syrup. (Coming from my son who would eat Maple syrup on just about anything)
  • Maybe you can find some time today to blog these.  (When someone says “you should blog this”, I know it’s really good)

These look so yummy and while not all my boys love Nutella I have found that they all think it is delicious with strawberries! We’ll have to try this later and I’m going to pin this recipe so I don’t forget.
