Making Leftover Night Special with EDWARDS® Pies

My son and I had our first official “Texas Summer” moment last week.  It’s that moment when you comment to each other how “nice” and “not so hot” it feels outside only to look at the thermometer and realize it’s 96 degrees!  In our defense, it had been 100 the day before.  

When it gets that hot, I have a hard time getting motivated to cook.  That’s when we grill out or have something simple…like left overs.  Sometimes I try to make the leftovers into a new dish but when it’s this hot, I just want everyone to heat their plate in the microwave.  

I’ve mentioned before, my family isn’t that crazy about leftover so it’s nice to be able to give them a little treat on Leftover Night, like EDWARDS® Whole Pies! 

I picked up EDWARDS® Turtle Pie and EDWARDS® HERSHEY’S® Chocolate Crème Pie from Walmart (for a great price), on one of my recent visits.  They’re great to have in the freezer for a quick dessert or treat!  Just place them in the refrigerator a couple of hours before serving and when you’re ready, so are they!  

No baking, no hot kitchen, no prep, just rich, creamy, decadent cream pies!  What’s not to love about that?

AND they look great!  Easy pie with beautiful details and garnish!  What could make Leftover Night any better?
