For today’s Time Saving Tuesday I’m excited to share TWO of may favorite things!  A Quick & Easy Recipe and FREE FOOD!!!!!  Yes, that’s right!!!  Easy Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches are wonderful and you can try them (along with many other options) when you visit the Eggo® Waffle Bar Truck!

The Eggo® Waffle Bar Truck is traveling around the country sharing their FREE waffle bar!  How fun is that?!  From now through September the Waffle Bar Truck will be visiting over 200 Walmart stores.  And I also have more Delicious News! Eggo waffles now have no artificial flavors and colors from natural sources.

My son is a HUGE waffle fan.  One year he actually asked for a waffle maker for Christmas.…and he got one!  He shares my love of food and has decided he’d like to own a food truck in the near future.

So, combine a love of waffles and all things FREE with the desire to own a food truck and you can imagine the excitement around here!  We’ve got the date and time on the calendar for our Waffle Bar Truck visit!  

Recently, my son had a friend over to play video games.  And, of course, as we all know…

Friends + Video Games = Required Snack.

In anticipation of our Waffle Bar Truck visit I decided to make a quick trip to Walmart and pick up a few things for my own waffle bar.

It came together very quickly and looked delicious!

Now, let’s just be honest….have you ever tried to pry two fifteen-year-old boys away from a video game?  I saved myself the effort and just made them Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches.  

Putting the plate on the table next to them certainly got their attention!  Those Ice Cream Sandwiches were gone in no time!  

I enjoyed Cinnamon Toast Ice Cream Sandwich Bites 

We had the waffle bar as a snack but it would be great for a quick breakfast-for-dinner or fun party food.  

Here’s a few suggestions for the perfect Waffle Bar:  

• Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles 
• Kellogg’s® Eggo® Chocolatey Chip Waffles 
• Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping 
• Kellogg’s® Eggo® Cinnamon Toast
• Banquet® Brown’N Serve™ Original Sausage Link 
• M&M’S® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies 
• Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream 
• Fresh Fruit (your favorite)

Just about anything goes on waffles, so have fun and be creative!  

And now the Recipes:

Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches

• 2  Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles 
• 1/2 cup Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream 
• 2 Tbsp M&M’S® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies 
• Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping 

Toast waffles according to package directions

Top one waffle with ice cream

Place second waffle on top and gently (but quickly) press chocolate candies into the ice cream around the sides of the sandwich

Top with a dollop of Redi-whip

Serve immediately

Cinnamon Toast Ice Cream Sandwich Bites

• 2  Kellogg’s® Eggo® Cinnamon Toast
• 1/2 cup Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream 
• 1/4 cup M&M’S® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies – divided into 4 small scoops
• Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping 

Toast waffles according to package directions

Cut each waffle into fourths (along natural lines)

Place ice cream on top of one waffle

Top with second waffle 

Gently press chocolate candies into ice cream around sides 

Add a dollop of Redi-whip and Serve immediately
