Asiago Herb Cheese Crisps make holiday planning easy….AND Stella Cheeses is giving away a trip to Napa Valley, California! Scroll down to enter!
With Thanksgiving over and all the turkey leftovers gone, we’re officially, full-on into the Christmas season! It’s my favorite time of year! I love the festive atmosphere, the beautiful decorations, Christmas carols playing, and gathering with family and friends to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
I was looking at our calendar today and it seems we’re going to have one celebration after another until December 25. What fun!!! Yes, it’s easy to get busy with the hustle and bustle of the season and stress or focus on insignificant details rather than enjoying our family and friends. That’s why I’m sharing this quick and easy Asiago Herb Cheese Crisps recipe with you today.
Seriously, you can have a beautiful, delicious appetizer that everyone will love… ready in 15 minutes. It does not get any better than that. These Cheese Crisps can be served alone, with a little marinara sauce or as a part of a cheese board. If you can preheat the oven, grate cheese, chop a few herbs and set a timer….you can make this recipe! In fact, let the kids help with this one.
There are, however, two VERY important things to remember when making Cheese Crisps…
- Line the pan with parchment paper – this is of the utmost importance….trust me on this one
2. Use a good, high-quality ingredients – I used fresh herbs and Stella Asiago Aged Cheese.
Speaking of Stella cheese, you might be interested to know they are giving away a trip to Napa Valley! How fun is that?!

Enjoy the Recipe:
*Although herbs can be used together, I chose to make half the recipe with rosemary only and the other half with garlic and basil.*
- 1 cup Stella Aged Asiago cheese
- 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil and/or rosemary
- sprinkle of granulated garlic
- parchment paper
- baking sheet
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Grate cheese and finely chop herbs
Mix garlic, cheese and herbs
Place a couple of tablespoons of cheese mixture in a pile on parchment paper, leaving an inch or so between each pile
Flatten slightly
Place in hot oven and bake for about 7-10 minutes.
*I highly recommend setting a timer and checking after 7 minutes. You want them to be ever so slightly golden brown but it’s easy to overcook them*
Remove from oven and allow to cool a couple of minutes on baking sheet before removing onto a cooling rack Or, slide parchment paper with crisps on it, onto a cooling rack to allow them to cool completely.
